  3. Yes, it's funny, but it also serves a purpose. Reruns of Law & Order run ad nauseum on U.S. television. Why not turn entertainment into a learning experience and find out more about the cultural/linguistic differences between the U.S. and the U.K.? That might attract viewers bored with the same old same old.

  5. Hi, Maureen! I just started watching L&O UK and one thing that just tickles me is when the DS give the British version of the Miranda Warning, "You have the right to remain silent." If I were arrested in the UK, I probably would say, "What's that part in the middle again?"
