England: Prescription Promise Campaign

The British Heart Foundation has a campaign to fight for free prescriptions in England: Gordon Brown promised last year to make prescriptions free for all those with long term conditions in the coming years so we have joined forces with 18 other charities representing people with long term conditions as part of the Prescription Promise Campaign. Prescriptions are free in Wales and will be in Scotland and Northern Ireland by 2011.

  1. They'll have to fight for it since most of his promises have not been kept or are worthless.
This is yet another one of these annoying anomalies that now divide parts of the so-called United Kingdom! xx

  2. I agree - most of his promises haven't been kept or are worthless as you say.
And I still don't understand how the people in the different countries that make up the UK can be be treated so unfairly.

  3. I have been checking out a few of your stories and i can state pretty good stuff. I will definitely bookmark your blog. Antipodes
