I wonder if there is a similar test for men! I haven't read Austen particularly, but I'm sure there are just as many noteworthy male characters (including the ubiquitous Mr Darcy).
ReplyDeleteI've just finished reading Wuthering Heights, which I'm guessing you've probably also read! I'd love a recommendation on which Austen novel to start on.
By the way, congratulations on the award--your blog is really refreshing to read.
I wondered the same thing, Daniel and I agree with you - there should be a smilar quiz about the male characters.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have read Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights. It's one of my favourite classics along with Jane Eyre by her sister, Charlotte.
It's difficult to recommend just one of Jane Austen's novels but Pride and Prejudice which is the most popular (and my favourite) is a good one to start on. I also love Sense and Sensibility.
Thank you for your kind words - it's lovely to get positive feedback about my blog.
