The new estate agent-speak

Estate agents have their own language and colourful use of slang as this article in The Telegraph, attests to: Property market: 'The bottom is now visible' Unfortunately, most of their special terms aren't very complimentary (and I'm sure there are many more we will never know about!) which will probably just enforce the bad opinion that most buyers/sellers have about estate agents, and vice versa. I will admit however, that I found some of their slang rather amusing. I like this one: Brickamortoise A house has been sitting on the market for a long time and gone stale - but the sellers still won’t reduce the price.
