I must admit that snowy England does look gorgeous. Shame that it just causes way too much trouble for everybody! There was snow on the ground when I left London last Wednesday so I was really worried the flights would be disturbed but they weren't, at least at Stansted.

ReplyDeleteIt does seem that it's ridiculously difficult for the UK to cope with snow. To be fair though, countries that always get severe winters are geared up for it. The streets are plowed right away and salted or sanded, and drivers make sure they have snow tires on their cars.
