Daniel Hannan, MEP EU Speech: "The devalued Prime Minister of a devalued Government"

Daniel Hannan, Conservative MEP (Member of the European Parliament) for South East England, has made a scathing speech in the Euro parliament - delivered to Prime Minister Gordon Brown - which has become a surprise hit on the internet:

  1. I agree that it's a terrific speech!
I wish that we could have seen Gordon Brown whilst it was being given. xx

  3. Every frustration with Gordon the non-elected dictator was delivered in 3 minutes on behalf of us mere mortals. Finally, someone who has said something is significant enough through the Internet even if the mainstream media ignore it. It just shows the people still have the power and if we channel this correctly, we would have a government that fears us, and not us fearing the government.

  4. I agree, Isis. His powerful speech may have been largely ignored by the British media but thankfully people spread the video through the blogosphere. It does indeed show that people still have power - and hopefully more people will realize it.
