Brown backs down re: hiding MPs expenses

This is very welcome news! The disgusting plan to make MPs' expenses exempt from the Freedom of Information (FoI) act has been shelved as Brown backs down. (link via BBC News) (thanks for providing the link, flighty!) Campaigners said it was a victory for "people power" after a web protest. People power, indeed - and it shows why blogging is so powerful.
